Draft for review: This page is a practical starting point, not legal advice. Simon should have it checked and replace all square-bracket placeholders before relying on it.

Northline Leads is operated by Simon under [REGISTERED COMPANY OR TRADING NAME], [COMPANY NUMBER IF APPLICABLE], at [UK REGISTERED ADDRESS OR CONTACT AREA]. For data-protection questions, email simon@northlineleads.co.uk or call 07348 829852.

Information collected

For cleaning enquiries, we collect your name, organisation, phone number, email address, premises postcode and type, size, required frequency, preferred start date and the cleaning details you provide. For contractor applications, we collect company and contact details, areas covered, premises types, preferred contract size and current capacity. We may also keep notes from calls or messages, consent records, and basic technical or security logs created when a form is submitted.

Why we use it

We use enquiry information to respond to your request, check the requirement, match it with suitable contractors, make introductions, manage the service, prevent abuse and keep appropriate business records. The main lawful bases are taking steps at your request before a possible contract, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, legal obligations, and your clear consent to share an enquiry with suitable independent contractors.

Who receives it

With the business contact’s consent, relevant enquiry details are shared with one or more suitable independent cleaning contractors so they can discuss a quotation. Contractors act independently and are responsible for how they use information after an introduction. Information may also be processed by suppliers that host the website, deliver form emails or provide essential IT support. We do not sell contact lists.

Retention

Cleaning enquiries and related qualification notes are normally kept for up to 12 months after the last meaningful contact. Contractor applications and account or trial records are normally kept for up to 24 months after the last meaningful contact. Financial or contractual records may be kept longer where the law requires it. Minimal suppression records may be retained so an opt-out is respected. Information is deleted or anonymised when it is no longer needed.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or a portable copy of your personal information, and may withdraw consent at any time. Email Simon using the address above. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Security and overseas processing

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards and limit access to people and suppliers who need it. Some service providers may process information outside the UK; where this happens, appropriate UK transfer safeguards should be confirmed and documented.

Cookies

The current site does not intentionally use analytics, advertising cookies or other non-essential cookies, so no cookie-consent banner is shown. If analytics or similar tools are added later, this notice and the consent mechanism must be updated before they are enabled.

Changes

This notice may be updated when the service or suppliers change. The latest version will appear on this page.
